- Question 1: When I tried to connect my IP cameras from other brands, why don't they display?
- Answer: Reolink cameras work perfectly with Reolink NVRs. But it is not recommended to add third-party cameras to Reolink NVRs since there may involve compatibility problems. That's why some of the functions don't work properly.
- Question 2: Can the cameras record sound?
- Answer: Yes, after you select "Record Audio" for each camera on the NVR, each of them will record sound for sure.
Each camera in this kit captures videos of 3840*2160 resolution, which is 4 times the clarity of 1080p camera. You can see crucial details clearly, like faces, logos, and plate numbers. With the built-in microphone, cameras can also pick up ambient sound for an extra layer of security.
The 4 PoE IP cameras can detect people, vehicles,and pets* in terms of their shapes, which minimizes unwanted alerts caused by swaying leaves and flying bugs. The cameras can also specify the type of detection when sending alerts to you. Know what happened by just glancing at the lock screen.
Note:Currently,pet detection is used to detect cats and dogs and is in beta testing.
