The compact XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R lens from Fujifilm is the first zoom lens for the X mount on their X-series interchangeable-lens digital cameras. It covers most occasions with a wide range of focal lengths from a 35mm equivalent 27mm to 84mm, as well as a wide range of aperture from f2.8-4 to f22. Chromatic aberrations are minimized with three aspherical lens elements and one extra-low dispersion element. Optical Image Stabilization eliminates blur caused by camera shake, while a linear motor ensures fast smooth and smooth autofocus.

Wide aperture such as f/2.8-4 enables you to capture stunning pictures with shallow depth of field in low light situations such as at night, while small apertures such as f22 increase depth of field in close-up shots or landscape shots.
